   i enjoy looking at before & after pix of people who had plastic surgeries ... This is one of the many cases ive seen where i am just speechless on how pregnancy can DESTROY someone's body! Thank God for PS !            Her Dr did a beautiful job !!!  

CASE : 

Tummy Tuck Black Patient
23 year old black female who was unhappy with the extra hanging stomach wall skin and her cesarean section scar. 
Height 5' 0" Weight 150 pounds
Location Surgery: Hospital Operating Room
Anesthesia: General with Tumescent Technique 
Stay: Ambulatory Surgery Package (up to 23 hours)
Abdominal Sculpture included:

Tightening of the rectus muscles of the abdomen from the chest to the pubic region 
Full Abdominoplasty - High Lateral Tension Technique 
Removal of large section of loose skin, C-section scar, and stretch marks in skin removed 
Recreation of belly button through transposed skin 

BEFORE : 

The loose stomach wall muscles and a large diastasis recti (separation of the abdominal wall (rectus) muscles) were a major cause of this bulge of her abdomen. A large gap can occur between the two rectus muscles during pregnancy. In some cases this never returns to normal.

The scars have softened nicely and the shape has evolved.

Scar care after tummy tuck in the black patient requires active patient participation in the after care period. This patient has been massaging her scars with cocoa butter. She has never had problems with severe scarring.
