bullet Topic: Flatter Stomach HELP!
    Posted: 30 Oct 2004 at 6:26am

Hello,

I have this problem, Im a small girl with a small frame. I pretty much slim everywhere on my body expect my stomach. Whenever i gain weight it seems to be around the stomach area and now i have this little bungle, its so embarrassing i cant wear short tops or anything cos i cant get rid of this bungle. I'm trying to eat more healthy but whenever i opted for the healthy option i loose alittle weight. I've also started to exercise more to still, not much luck so far.

Do u guys have any suggestions on what i should do?

I eat rice, potatoe skins with cheese, tomato soup, and processed foods is there any way i can improve my diet and maintain my weight?

thanx

Maybe you should try cardio excercises cos those make you loose weight, and then try some sit-ups or something to tone the area...im not 100% sure though...

Bump...I tried clicking on the link but it didn't work. My stomach has always been naturally flat(even after two babies) but in the last year or so, I started getting a little pouch. I don't really want to lose weight, I just want a firmer stomach. Anymore sugestions or another link?

Thanks. I try but I never feel like I'm doing them right. Guess I need to watch the fitness channel or something. Do sit-ups work? I once considered buying that ablounge thing on TV but I'm afraid it be a rip-off and take up too much space.

Hey Certified20, I actually bought the ablounge thing and it works waaaay better than regular crunches. It's less stress on you neck and back. Normally I could only do about 30 crunches but on the ablounge I do about 100. I did 4 reps of 25, while I was watching tv. I could have done more, but I didn't want to over due it. At first I thought that it wasn't working but in the morning, I defiantly felt the burn. I haven't been consistant with it but I did feel the burn, and my stomach muscle are tighter. All in all, I like the ablounge. I'm going to start using it every other day, for a month and track my results. I'll keep you all posted.

I'm just now seeing this post but maybe I will buy the ablounge.  I need something to motivate me. I'm going to look for it in Wal-mart. Thanks for the info.

Thanks guys. I too have the Ab Lounge and I was beginning to get discouraged, but due to your posts, I'm going to continue on with it. Hopefully, I see results soon - that's the only way I'll continue.
