Hey Choc I just had to let everyone know that you are absolutely ingenious! If you have a problem not bleaching your knots just right and end up with that awful orange scalp look then Choc has the solution and the outcome is wonderful! She recommends using Ivory Toner (I used Wella) with color developer instead of having to rebleach the knots which will eventually weaken the knots and Im telling you it is the best knot job I have ever done so thanks so much for saving my babies again! I cant tell you how smart that was.WinkStar

Toning hair is done to neutralize brassy (yellow or yellow/orange) pigments. You need to add back pigments to create a "natural" look

You can get it from sally's they have it in different colors. My bottle said to mix 2 parts developer to 1 part toner.

Start applying the toner in the area that needs it the most. Avoid getting any of the formula on pieces that don't need toning (coating those sections with a bit of conditioner will help keep them from getting processed if you accidentally get color on them).

Let the toner process for the full time recommended by the manufacturer (usually 30-45 minutes). However, in cases where only slight toning is required, you can rinse it sooner.
Baby will be here May 20th yay .

Are you suppose to turn the cap inside out like when you bleach the knots?

I bleached my knots and totally ruined my wig... what did I do wrong?  I turned my wig inside out and applied bleach on the lace.  I ended up with bleach every d!%m where.  Was my bleach too runny maybe?
It's all about the hair...

^^^^ probably it should be a nice consistency a little thicker than coating the back of a spoon.  shouldn't run at all.
