Hi everyone, Donna B here...
Married mother of two daughters (27 & 18), proud Grandma, and a financial analyst in NYC. Just starting to wear my lace units again as a protective style for winter. Gave them up for almost a year as I started growing my natural hair out.

Hello ladies! My name is Cassandra and I am a wife of 3 years (been together for 10), a mother of 4 beautiful girls (17, 15, 8 and 1). I am currently unemployed for over a year now. Was laid off while on maternity leave in Nov. 08 so I'm just finishing up school (Bachelor's Psyhology), a housewife and looking to re-enter the job force very soon!
I am an old member on here, haven't been on in a long while for a number of reasons including my recent relocating from New York to Georgia and so far I am not regretting this move at all.
I took a break from LF's while pregnant and for a while after but NOW I am back baby! 
Looking forward to chatting with you ladies!

Hello To All. I am Jewel961. Happily married for 25 years and mother of 2 sons. I am a product of Temple University and reside outside the Phila. area.
My hair used to be my pride and joy but I now suffer from hair loss. I have needed a LFW like yesterday. If I had listened to my husband I probably could have about 10 by now. He likes to hair shop with me. I should be listening to him!
I have been reading ever since I found this board and I am still reading. There is a wealth of information here you can't get anywhere else. Sharing one's experiences helps another get down the road. The caring, sharing, support and kind words expressed here have truly impressed me. My hair led me to this special place and I'm oh so glad it did. I want to be addicted just like all of you!

Hello BHM sista's, my name is Theresa aka Bruingal1. I'm 56 years young and graduated from the University of California Los Angeles (UCLA Bruins) with a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing. I'm a Registered Nurse.
I have two hobbies. The first is making homemade greeting cards. I attend Stampin Up Card classes at least twice a month. My second hobby like LadyKmp I love reading Historical Romance Novels. I think I collect many more than I actually read. Like Skyyprincess I've read the entire Twilight Series once and plan to read the 5 books again.
I've been married to the same wonderful man for 26 years,.
I purchased my first lace wig in October of 2008. My very first application was professionally applied Nov. 4 2008, the day President Obama was elected. After the first application I've been doing them myself. I started reading every thing on BHM a couple of months before I purchased and had my unit applied. And as they say, "the rest is history".

hi everyone, i'm nadya. i have two boys 23 and 19 - they are everything to me. i'm originally from los angeles and live in the mid-west now. i HATE it, but i travel with my job out of state, or out of country every other week, so it's bearable. i am most passionate about reading and writing. i also love movies.
i am so happy and grateful for all of the women here that have shared their know how. i hope i can help someone else, or contribute at some point to give back.
