Solution, if you've found one: moisture is the key. moistourise every night (mosly ends) and throw n a bonnet or sumtin silk/satin or whatever lol
Favorite shampoo and why: pantene RAN b/c it makes my hair feel soft n silky and b/c it has amino proteinsand nizoral cuz it takes care of my flakes

Hair type and length:3b/3c APL *How much does your hair grow a month: .5 in the winter, 1 inch in the summer (enjoying the growth spurt)
Your biggest hair problem: (breakage, dryness, etc.) dryness is a mother.
Solution, if you've found one: once a week, saturate my hair in amla, castor and olive oil and leave in overnight. Clarify or shampoo the next morning and then deep condition...works well for me
Favorite shampoo and why: None...all of them dry my hair out. Experimenting with adding lemon juice to conditioners as my "shampoo".
Favorite conditioner and why: Anything by Lustrasilk. I usually add olive or castor oil to it and my hair stays moist and shiny
Daily moisturizer: My avacado, mango butter concoction at the moment. Will be making a coco butter concoction this month
Fave random hair product: castor oil...hands down
Fave Relaxer: none "creamy crack is whack"
Best hair tip: Be very patient and get to know your hair.
What's product/vitamin/technique gives you the most growth? Adding MN to my castor/vitamin e oil temple balm. I have side burns now. I haven't seen those in 15 years
What's gives you the most shine? ACV and honey rinses.
How do you wear your hair daily: French twist or tail up bun
Random notes: Any particular product or details about your regimen/hair you want to share? I am an old head and was always taught to grease my hair and scalp. Since I decided to go natural, I have found that my scalp does not like anything on it and this includes any oils. I have also found that my hair does not need to be greasy to be healthy. I finally have found that my hair needs to be moist and so far, so good.

Hair type and length: *How much does your hair grow a month: about 3/4 inch
Your biggest hair problem: (breakage, dryness, etc.) It's very fine
Solution, if you've found one: products that contain castor oil & henna
Favorite shampoo and why: Shikakai Bar: cleans well, and softens.
Favorite conditioner and why: Moisture 24/7 and Sitri-Nillah (DC): Both soften and provide slip, without making my hair sticky..they both also smell great!
Daily moisturizer: HydraSoft Spritz & Whipped Baggy Cream
Fave random hair product: Shikakai Oil, used for my pre-poo
Fave Relaxer: ORS (I think that's the last one I used)
Best hair tip: Be consistent!
What's product/vitamin/technique gives you the most growth? When I used growth aids, MN did the job. Now, I get close to the same results without the growth aid....massage, a good diet, a great product line, and supplementation is doing the trick.
What's gives you the most shine? The oil I use for my prepoo...but eliminating heat has increased my shine tremendously
How do you wear your hair daily: Bun or updo
Random notes: Any particular product or details about your regimen/hair you want to share? I also use cassia (neutral henna) occasionally, based on what I feel my hair needs. I use the HairVeda product line.

Random notes: Any particular product or details about your regimen/hair you want to share? I just think it's important to stick ot your regimen, DON'T compare your progress to the progress of others and BE patient!

Hair type and length: 4a/b just above the shoulder *How much does your hair grow a month: between .5 in and .75 in
Your biggest hair problem: (breakage, dryness, etc.): more a behavioral problem--I am addicted to heat, which leads to dryness/breakage
Solution, if you've found one: cutting back on heat and frequent deep conditioning
Favorite shampoo and why: still looking, but the one working the best right now is Pantene Daily Moisture Renewal 2-in-1 shampoo and conditioner (followed w/ my conditioner). Not too drying and great smell
Favorite conditioner and why: Biolage Ultra Hydrating Balm. It makes my hair like silk!
Daily moisturizer: Profectiv Breakfree. truly stops the breakage
Fave random hair product: Garnier Fructis Sleek and Shine Anti-frizz serum
Fave Relaxer: Gentle Treatment at home and Affirm at the salon
Best hair tip: Being consistent w/ my routine. Like somebody else said earlier, it really does pay off
What's product/vitamin/technique gives you the most growth? low heat, low manipulation, frequent deep conditioning
What's gives you the most shine? Massaging my scalp nightly with a teeny tiny bit of Africa's Best Organics Carrot Tea Tree Oil Therapy. I've got mild eczema, and my scalp and skin love it.
How do you wear your hair daily: ponytail or bun
Random notes: Any particular product or details about your regimen/hair you want to share? My favorite product in the world: Biolage Glaze. This is a thick, clear liquid that you pour in your hands and put on your hair. It's extremely conditioning and makes my hair so straight and shiny when I use it to blow dry. It got discontinued about three or four years ago, but I always buy a bottle when I see somewhere and stockpile it.
